What appears to be excess upper-eyelid skin may also involve ptosis, eyebrow position, eyelid-muscle function, or natural differences between the two eyes. Under-eye fullness may require a different approach from loose skin or hollowing.

What happens during my eyelid surgery consultation?
Your consultation is a comprehensive evaluation of your eyelids, brows, facial anatomy, and individual concerns. Dr. Thiagarajah will discuss what is contributing to the appearance of your eyes and whether upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, brow support, or another approach is appropriate. You’ll receive an individualized treatment plan rather than a one-size-fits-all recommendation.
How much does a cosmetic consultation cost?
A cosmetic consultation with Dr. Thiagarajah is $200. The consultation allows time for a detailed evaluation, discussion of your goals, and a personalized surgical recommendation.
Will I know the cost of surgery at my consultation?
Yes. After your evaluation and treatment plan are established, you will receive a detailed quote based on the procedures recommended for you. Cosmetic surgery fees vary depending on whether surgery is performed in the office or operating room and whether multiple procedures are combined.
How soon can I have surgery after my consultation?
Once you have completed your consultation and decided to proceed, our team will help you select an available surgical date. Availability varies throughout the year, so patients with a particular event or timeframe in mind should mention it when requesting their consultation.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Bring a current medication list, information about previous eye or eyelid surgery, and any relevant medical or ophthalmic history. If you have photographs showing how your eyelids have changed over time, those can also be helpful.
